3 times famous women received clothing critique in recent times
Actors Mawra Hocane and Ushna Shah were criticized by fans for their vacation styles, while Olympic swimmer Jehanra Nabi was chastised for her swimming attire.
The internet has made it very tough for celebrities to evade the public eye. At the same time, social media has made it impossible for the public to evade knowledge about celebrities. It's not easy for either, but sometimes celebs want to share their happy moments and poignant thoughts, which makes the public want to throw in their two cents too.
And for some reason, the adoring public loves talking about what someone is wearing. Now, the fashion police is always important, otherwise, there would be no limit to Ranveer Singh's sartorial antics, but using clothes to morally police anyone is a hard no.
Mawra Hocane and the case of the full wetsuit
However, whenever we see someone having fun, in say, Hawaii, like Mawra Hocane, some of us can't help but say something. In this case, Hocane's surfing attire drew the ire of her adoring fans. The actor has not responded in any manner to the comments, but she hasn't taken the post down either, which some celebrities in the past have been forced to.
Ushna Shah strikes back
As we all know, Ushna Shah is no shrinking violet, and when something really bothers her, she tends to speak up about it. On vacation with her husband Hamza Amin in Vienna, Shah chose to dress in comfy shorts and tees. Now you could either say nothing, or just absolutely have to be unpleasant in a stranger's comments section. That is the road lots of followers took.
Ushna Shah Insta storied her response, and never looked back (we assume).
Just keep swimming: Jehanara Nabi
The only thing significant about Jehanara Nabi's swimming attire is that she wore what she did to the Olympics. And that's her mic drop right there.
