Premier Li conveyed greetings from Chinese President Xi Jinping, along with his best wishes for the UAE's continued progress. Sheikh Mohamed reciprocated, congratulating China on its upcoming National Day and expressing confidence in the further advancement of UAE-China relations.
Marking the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties, both leaders reflected on their countries' strong partnership, which has contributed to sustainable development and mutual prosperity. Sheikh Mohamed reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to deepening cooperation with China, particularly in alignment with both nations' developmental goals.
The two leaders also addressed regional and global issues, emphasising the importance of diplomacy in resolving conflicts and promoting stability. They highlighted their nations' shared commitment to peace, with a particular focus on achieving a ceasefire in Gaza and ensuring the protection of civilians through sustainable humanitarian aid.
Reflecting on his recent visit to China, Sheikh Mohamed expressed appreciation for President Xi's commitment to strengthening the partnership and reiterated the UAE’s support for the Belt and Road initiative. Premier Li, in turn, thanked Sheikh Mohamed for the warm welcome and reiterated China’s desire to broaden its partnership with the UAE.
Following the talks, Sheikh Mohamed hosted a luncheon in honour of Premier Li and his delegation. The meeting was attended by several UAE dignitaries, including Vice President Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed, and senior government officials, as well as key figures from China.

UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum also received Premier Li in a separate meeting. Sheikh Mohammed welcomed the Chinese delegation and expressed his hope that the visit would further strengthen bilateral relations. An official reception ceremony was held at Qasr Al Watan, where the national anthem of the People's Republic of China was played, and Premier Li greeted UAE leaders and senior officials.
