Dubai is integrating Salik accounts and RTA parking systems in the first quarter of 2025

This will make it easier for motorists to pay for parking fees at over 100 locations in the city

Drivers can link their Salik accounts with the parking system for seamless deductions

Dubai is set to integrate Salik accounts and RTA parkings systems during the first quarter of 2025, making it easier for the city's motorists to pay for parking fees in more than 100 locations across the city.

The move is part of the Roads and Transport Authority's (RTA) ongoing efforts to enhance smart city solutions and streamline everyday transactions for residents and visitors.

The latest integration will allow drivers to link their Salik accounts with the parking system, enabling seamless deductions for parking fees.

This move is expected to significantly reduce the hassle of managing multiple payment methods, particularly for those who frequently rely on public parking.

Last week, Salik also made its first-ever change to its tolling system, introducing variable tolls during designated rush hours, and making roads toll-free everyday between 1 am and 6 am.
