In a heartfelt tribute to the visionary Founding Fathers of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Dubai Airports and the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) are welcoming travelers to the emirate with a special commemorative passport stamp.

This unique stamp, featuring the iconic ‘Zayed and Rashid’ logo, is part of the larger #ZayedAndRashid campaign, an initiative designed to honor the remarkable legacy of these two leaders whose pioneering efforts laid the foundation for the modern UAE.

Launched by Brand Dubai under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, the campaign brings together over 50 government, semi-government, and private sector entities. Together, they are celebrating the enduring influence of Sheikh Zayed and Sheikh Rashid, whose combined vision has transformed the UAE into a global symbol of innovation, prosperity, and happiness.

The #ZayedAndRashid campaign coincides with the UAE’s month-long national festivities, which kicked off on November 3 with UAE Flag Day and will culminate on December 2 with Eid Al Etihad. The stamp is more than a simple mark in a passport; it is a symbol of deep gratitude and reverence for the Founding Fathers, acknowledging their immeasurable contributions to the growth and progress of the nation.

As Dubai sees a surge in travelers this December, the #ZayedAndRashid stamp will continue to grace the passports of visitors arriving through Dubai Airports until December 31, offering them a tangible connection to the UAE’s proud past and its promising future.

But the campaign is not just about a stamp; it’s about a movement that celebrates unity, patriotism, and pride in the UAE’s extraordinary journey. Through a series of events, activations, and exhibitions, the #ZayedAndRashid campaign invites both citizens and visitors to reflect on the milestones that have propelled the UAE to the forefront of global leadership.

Among the standout initiatives is the Flag Garden, a spectacular display of national pride, and a striking mural on the façade of the Gate Building at Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), both of which feature portraits of the two Founding Fathers. These visual tributes are more than just art, they are powerful reminders of the values of unity and determination that shaped the UAE into the nation it is today.

Running until December 2, the campaign’s wide range of activities across Dubai provides a chance to explore the UAE’s rich heritage and history in fresh, engaging ways. Whether it’s through art installations, cultural showcases, or community events, the #ZayedAndRashid campaign offers visitors an opportunity to connect with the very soul of the UAE, its people, its vision, and its leadership.
