Hidden in West Delhi, Prajapati colony has old school charm
Hidden in the West Delhi is a village of potters where skilled hands of artisans give shape to clay and make beautiful pottery.
Nukta visits Prajapati colony which is also known as Kumhar Gram.
As one enters the colony, one can see piles of earthen pots on both sides of the road.
The potters migrated to from the northwestern state of Rajasthan, says one resident of the village.
Here clay has a language of its own: it is felt and understood.
The pottery they make is famous not only in India, but world over, residents claim.
