Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa welcomed UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Monday at Al Safriya Palace during his official visit for the 12th UAE-Bahrain Joint Higher Committee meeting, held the previous day.

During their meeting, King Hamad emphasized the historic and deeply rooted ties between Bahrain and the UAE, describing the relationship as a model of cooperation and unity between nations that share common values and aspirations.

The Bahraini king praised the outcomes of the joint committee meeting, highlighting its role in advancing strategic partnerships and fostering closer collaboration across a range of fields, including economic development and cultural exchange. He also expressed appreciation for the UAE’s ongoing support for Bahrain, underscoring the significance of their shared commitment to mutual progress.

Sheikh Abdullah reaffirmed the UAE's dedication to strengthening ties with Bahrain, noting the strong historical relationship between the two nations. He praised Bahrain’s development under King Hamad’s leadership and commended the country's efforts in fostering regional stability and prosperity.

The meeting was attended by senior officials from both sides, including UAE ministers and the UAE ambassador to Bahrain, who participated in discussions aimed at deepening cooperation between the two nations.
