Andrew Garfield has once again stolen hearts, this time in Saudi Arabia.

The English-American actor made waves during his visit to the Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah, where his latest film, We Live in Time, had its MENA premiere on Monday night as part of a glamorous gala screening. The festival, which ran from December 6 to 15, attracted some of the biggest names in global cinema.

Garfield left audiences in awe as he opened his speech with a heartfelt “Assalamu alaikum” (peace be upon you), instantly charming the crowd. He went on to thank the festival for its hospitality, saying, “So grateful to be welcomed here like it is my second home.” This isn’t his first rodeo at the festival either—Garfield also attended last year, proving his growing connection to the region.

In an interview with ING Middle East, Garfield shared his thoughts on the unique atmosphere of Jeddah. “The city might have a special energy because of its proximity to Makkah,” he said. His comment highlighted the unique and spiritual ambiance he felt during his visit to the region

Before the festival concluded, Garfield was spotted in Riyadh enjoying candid moments with locals. One particularly heartwarming scene caught on camera showed him snapping photos of children in a park as they posed with the iconic Egyptian actress Youssra. Fans couldn’t help but draw parallels between this wholesome moment and Garfield’s dad-like character in We Live in Time, amplifying his sweet and approachable image.

But Garfield’s charm isn’t just skin deep. The actor, who’s known for his thoughtful perspectives, recently made headlines for calling attention to the ongoing genocide in Gaza. His compassionate stance highlights the depth behind his Hollywood glow.

With his Arabic greetings, candid interactions, and genuine warmth, Andrew Garfield is quickly becoming a regional favorite. As he continues to win hearts in Saudi Arabia and beyond, we’re left wondering: could Garfield be dreaming of a second home in the Middle East?

One thing’s for sure—whether on-screen or off, Garfield never fails to leave a lasting impression.
