Buyers in Dubai are paying up to Dh300 extra for the Burgundy iPhone 18 Pro Max in Deira phone markets, Khaleej Times reported. They want the phone now rather than wait for Apple's delivery, which its UAE website listed for October 28 to November 4 on October 6.

Apple's online delivery for the 512GB Burgundy model has been pushed back, so some customers are checking local shops instead. Traders in Deira say burgundy is the only color seeing this level of demand. Buyers pay extra to get the phone immediately rather than wait for the distributor.
How much does the Burgundy iPhone 18 Pro Max cost in Dubai?
Apple's UAE online store lists the 512GB Burgundy model at Dh6,349. Deira buyers are paying up to Dh300 on top of that to get the phone immediately.
Mohammed Mustafa, a phone trader in Deira Market, said buyers were paying more for burgundy than for other colors. "Only burgundy is seeing this kind of demand right now," he said.
Shop prices may depend on which color and storage size are available. Buyers can check the price, storage size and color with the seller before paying.
Sellers said black, silver and glacier models were selling closer to the original Apple UAE prices.
Why are shoppers checking local shops instead of Apple's store?
At Gargash Market, seller Obaidullah Jasir said Apple's delivery dates were one reason some customers were visiting local shops. The delivery window for the 512GB Burgundy model has been pushed back, he said.
The phone is also listed on several online shopping websites. Orders can only be placed during short booking periods that open from time to time, he said.
Will the Burgundy iPhone 18 Pro Max premium come down?
Mustafa said the extra amount may come down as more stock reaches the market. A new flagship color usually draws a lot of attention at first, he said.
Traders saw the same pattern with the orange iPhone 17 Pro last year.
When can UAE buyers get the new iPhone Duo?
Apple has also announced a new iPhone Duo. Pre-orders in the UAE open at 4pm on October 16, and the phone will be available from October 23.
Traders expect the launch to bring more shoppers to Deira's phone markets this month.
