Dubai Fitness Challenge releases full calendar of events for 2024
Free gyms and activities across the city from Oct. 26 to Nov. 24, featuring everything from golf to trail running
The Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) has announced its full event lineup for the 2024 edition, running from Oct. 26 to Nov. 24. The city-wide initiative encourages residents to stay active committing to 30 minutes of activity each day for 30 days.
Main events
Dubai Run
Registration is now open for the world’s largest free fun run, which transforms Sheikh Zayed Road into a massive running track. For the grand finale on Nov. 24, participants can choose between a 10-km route or a more relaxed 5-km option, catering to all fitness levels.
Dubai Ride
Taking place on Nov. 10, this year's cycling event features a family-friendly 4-km route through Downtown Dubai or a more challenging 12-km track along Sheikh Zayed Road. New for this year is the Dubai Ride Speed Laps, where cyclists over 21 can test their speed on the 12-km route.

Dubai Stand-Up Paddle
On Nov. 2, visitors can enjoy free stand-up paddleboarding or kayaking sessions at Hatta Dam. Paddlers can choose between 30-minute and 45-minute sessions, while kayakers can opt for a one-hour session, all available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fitness villages and community hubs
Three fitness villages at Kite Beach, Al Warqa’a Park, and Zabeel Park will be open to the public for free, offering a wide range of sports, classes, and events. Additionally, 25 smaller hubs across Dubai will provide activities like yoga, golf, HIIT, and trail running.

Must-have apps
To enhance their DFC experience, participants can access special packages from several health and fitness apps, including Whoop, Technogym App, Alo Moves, ASICS Runkeeper, BetterMe, CoreDirection, Fitze, Garmin Fitness Festival, Happier, HUAWEI Health App, LVL Wellbeing, Reebok Fitness, STEPPI, The Body Coach App by Joe Wicks, VIWELL, Wellbees, and Your Fitness Coach.
Participants can register now at www.dubaifitnesschallenge.com. In addition to 30 days of free fitness opportunities, early registrants will have the chance to win Emirates air tickets for two guests, along with hotel accommodation and entry to the Dubai Run.
