Emirates offering free 5-star hotel stays in Dubai to boost summer tourism
Buy a ticket between July 1 and 21 to enjoy a complimentary stay at JW Marriott
Emirates is offering free stays at one of Dubai’s most iconic hotels to passengers who book return flights with the airline this summer.
From July 1 to July 21, travelers who purchase return tickets for Emirates flights can enjoy a complimentary one-night stay at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai if traveling in Premium Economy or Economy Class. Those flying in First Class or Business Class will receive two free nights at the hotel.
The travel period for the promotion runs from July 4 to September 15, and bookings must be made at least 96 hours before the arrival date.
This initiative is part of Emirates' effort to attract visitors to Dubai during the summer and enhance the overall travel experience.
Dubai typically sees a drop in tourism during the summer months due to the extreme heat, with temperatures often exceeding 40°C. In response, Dubai has implemented various strategies to maintain visitor numbers, such as hosting summer shopping festivals like the city's annual entertainment and shopping festival, Dubai Summer Surprises.
In 2023, a record 17.15 million tourists visited Dubai -- an 19.4% increase from the year before and surpassing the previous record of 16.73 million visitors in 2019. As of May, 8.12 million people have visited Dubai in 2024.
Issam Kazim, CEO of the Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing, praised Emirates' initiative, noting its alignment with Dubai’s ongoing efforts to elevate its global tourism profile. “With more world-class attractions, events, and a revitalized Dubai Summer Surprises festival, there's never been a better time to experience the city,” he stated.
