Etihad Rail has announced the anticipated journey times for its passenger trains, marking a significant milestone for the UAE’s national railway network.
The announcement was made following the Global Rail Transport Infrastructure Exhibition and Conference, highlighting rapid travel options such as the 57-minute journey from Abu Dhabi to Dubai and the 105-minute trip from Abu Dhabi to Fujairah.
Following the conclusion of the inaugural edition of Global Rail Transport Infrastructure Exhibition and Conference, Etihad Rail has unveiled the journey times for its passenger trains, once operational across the UAE:

The UAE’s railway network, extending over 900km, is being developed to meet global standards, ensuring competitive and efficient passenger transport services once operational.
The rail network will connect 11 key cities and regions across the country, from Al Sila to Fujairah, linking Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Al Ruwais, Al Mirfa, Sharjah, Al Dhaid, and more.
Confirmed journey times include:
Abu Dhabi to Dubai: 57 minutes
Abu Dhabi to Al Ruwais: 70 minutes
Abu Dhabi to Fujairah: 105 minutes.
