The Government of Punjab is undertaking major initiatives to drive development across the province, with a strong focus on improving both urban and rural areas.

Key programs include Sohna Punjab, under which the Lahore Development Program and Punjab Development Program are being implemented. Alongside urban uplift, the government has also launched Suthra Punjab and Misali Gaon to revive and modernize communities.

Through these initiatives, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz aims to make Punjab the most developed province in the country.

From repairing streets and upgrading sewerage systems to establishing wastewater treatment plants and installing manholes, the government claims to have laid out comprehensive plans for long-term improvement.

But the real question remains: how will these ambitious programs deliver tangible results on the ground?

To explore this, we sat down with Mr Zeeshan Rafique, Provincial Minister for Local Government and Community Development, to discuss the vision, execution, and challenges behind these projects.

If you’re curious about the Punjab government’s roadmap for community development, this podcast offers clear answers—straight from the man leading the charge.
