How to use FBR's Tax Asaan App to file your return in the simplest way

If you're a Pakistani earning PKR 50,000 or above every month, you're mandated to file your tax returns. The deadline for filing returns for fiscal year 2023-24 (FY24) is September 30 and the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has already announced a slew of measures for those who don't file their returns. These include but are not limited to blocking sims and discontinuing electricity supply.

Want to file your returns before the deadline, but confused how to do it and don't want to pay a huge fee?

All you need is your computerized national identity card (CNIC), your email ID and a phone number registered under your name.
