You can now donate to the 'UAE Stands with Lebanon' philanthropic campaign to help those affected by the ongoing war.

According to the International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Affairs Council, the campaign will collect donations from the public in collaboration with humanitarian and charitable organizations.

1. Cash donations

You can make cash donations to the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) Authority’s bank account, or through its official app and website.

2. Assemble aid packages

You can also participate in two humanitarian relief package collection and packing campaigns:

  • Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Dubai Exhibition Center in Expo City Dubai.
  • Sunday, Oct. 13, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal of Abu Dhabi Ports (Terminal 1).

These events are organized in coordination with the Emirates Foundation’s Volunteers Platform and other volunteer platforms in the UAE.

3. In-kind donations

You can donate in-kind aid at the ERC Authority’s warehouses in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi, at various Dubai Humanitarian warehouses, and at the Authority’s offices across the country.

The "UAE Stands with Lebanon" campaign was announced on Oct. 5 by President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in response to the ongoing crisis in Lebanon.

The campaign includes a $100 million relief package. In partnership with the World Health Organization, the UAE dispatched an aircraft carrying 40 tonnes of urgent medical supplies to Lebanon on Friday.
