Iqbal Qasim breaks down Pakistan’s decline despite talent and funding

Qasim debuted in 1976 against Australia, went on to play 50 Tests, and took 171 wickets at an average of 28.11.

His legendary 9–121 in the 1987 Bengaluru Test — including Sunil Gavaskar’s dismissal on 96—helped seal Pakistan’s first Test series win on Indian soil.
