New Zealand cricketers stole the limelight during the player draft for Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 10, held in Lahore on Monday.

Among the 10 platinum picks, five were from New Zealand, including Daryll Mitchell (Lahore Qalandars), Mark Chapman (Quetta Gladiators), Michael Bracewell (Multan Sultans), Adam Milne (Karachi Kings), and Finn Allen (Quetta Gladiators).

Although Kane Williamson was not selected in the platinum round, Karachi Kings secured him in the supplementary category, alongside Australian opener David Warner, who was chosen in the platinum round.

Defending champions Islamabad United selected Australian Mathew Short in the platinum category, while all-rounders Faheem Ashraf and Abbas Afridi were picked by Quetta Gladiators and Karachi Kings, respectively, in the platinum category.

Quetta attempted to pick Tom Kohler-Cadmore, but Peshawar Zalmi exercised their Right to Match (RTM) option to secure the Englishman in the platinum category.
