Mastaani greets Karachi in style
The film's cast and crew made some interesting fashion choices at a meet & greet
From its trailer, Mastaani, written and directed by Usman Rizvi, looks like a fun romcom with a tragic twist.
Starring Amna Ilyas and Affan Waheed in leading roles, with veteran actors Parveen Akbar and Shehryar Zaidi on the cast too, the film's cast and crew has promoting up a storm across Pakistan.
The Mastaani team displayed some interesting fashion choices in Karachi, on August 22, 2024.
"Black is my go-to colour." - Affan Waheed
Affan Waheed dressed up his button-down and jeans with a Humayun Alamgir waistcoat. "Black is my go-to color," said Waheed, "I feel confident in it. And I really like Humayun Alamgir's style sense and always turn to him for special events."

"I prefer a classic look." - Parveen Akbar
Veteran actor Parveen Akbar was understated in a white blockprint gharara from Generation. "I always prefer to wear things that are classic and elegant," noted Akbar. The actor added a finishing touch to her ensemble with delicate pearl drop earrings.

"Green flag!" - Amna Ilyas
Meanwhile the Mastaani of the hour herself, model-actor Amna Ilyas wore a deep green sari with a banarsi pattern in dull gold. The most notable fashion choice here would be the simple glass bangles that seemed to be her only accessory. It's always nice to see minimalist looks done right.
