No plans for Putin-Trump meeting in Saudi: Kremlin
U.S., Russian, and Ukrainian officials recently held talks in Riyadh

The Kremlin on Wednesday dismissed speculation that Russian President Vladimir Putin might visit Saudi Arabia to meet with former US President Donald Trump, saying no such plans exist.
Trump, who has held two known phone calls with Putin since February, is expected to visit Saudi Arabia in the coming weeks. However, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made it clear that Putin has no scheduled trip to the kingdom.
“These are purely the plans of the US head of state, in no way related to Putin,” Peskov told reporters, adding that there is “no concrete date or place” for any possible meeting between the two leaders.
Trump has been pushing for an end to the ongoing war in Ukraine but has expressed frustration with both Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
While U.S., Russian, and Ukrainian officials recently held talks in Riyadh—resulting in a temporary halt to strikes on energy infrastructure—the situation remains tense, with both Moscow and Kyiv accusing each other of renewed attacks.
