Positive momentum persisted at the Pakistan Stock Exchange this week, with the benchmark KSE-100 index climbing 610 points, or 0.44%, to close at 139,207.

S&P Global Ratings revised Pakistan’s sovereign rating from CCC+ to B-, reflecting improved financial conditions under the ongoing IMF program.

Despite futures rollover, investors remained upbeat, consistently buying on dips. Stocks from the Auto, Banking, and Fertilizer sectors led the gains, benefiting from targeted investor interest.

This week on Stock Watch, Nukta presenter Shuja Qureshi is joined by Maaz Azam, Head of Research at Optimus Capital, for a deep dive into the upcoming monetary policy and a look at sectors that continue to offer compelling investment opportunities. Watch now!
