It was a mixed week at the Pakistan Stock Exchange. The KSE-100 index surged early on, hitting a high near 169,300, but gains were trimmed as insurance sector profit-taking kicked in. The index still managed a slight uptick, closing at 167,086, up 408 points or 0.24%.

On today's episode of Stock Watch, presented by HBL and powered by Chase Securities, Shuja Qureshi of Nukta is joined by Akseer Research’s Rida Asif to discuss what’s driving investor anxiety over inflation and why a controlled rupee slide might actually be a strategic move for boosting exports and drawing in foreign capital.
