The UAE has strongly condemned the publication of an alleged "historic Israel" map by official Israeli accounts, which includes parts of the Occupied Palestinian Territory, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria. The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) denounced this as a deliberate attempt to expand the occupation and a clear violation of international law.

The map, shared on X by the Israeli Foreign Ministry’s Arabic account, illustrated the biblical boundaries of the ancient Kingdoms of Israel and Judea, which, according to Biblical accounts, stretched into regions east of the Jordan River.

In a statement, MoFA rejected all provocative actions aimed at altering the legal status of the Palestinian territories, stressing that such measures undermine international legitimacy and escalate tensions in the region.

The Ministry emphasized the importance of supporting both regional and international peace efforts, including the two-state solution and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.

The UAE also reiterated its call for the United Nations and the UN Security Council to take decisive action in resolving ongoing conflicts and promoting peace and security in the region. The Ministry underscored the necessity of regional peace for long-term stability, development, and dignity for all people in the Middle East.
