The UAE Floating Hospital in Al Arish continues to play a vital role in providing urgent medical and humanitarian support to Palestinians from the Gaza Strip under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, WAM reported.

The initiative aims to reduce the suffering of those affected by conflict by delivering advanced healthcare services directly to those in need.

Recently, the hospital’s specialized medical team performed a highly complex surgical procedure on a young Palestinian man who had suffered serious injuries, including compound fractures to his right leg and arm, as well as complications from previous trauma.

Following the operation, the patient is now receiving intensive medical care along with a structured physiotherapy program designed to restore mobility and ensure a full recovery.

Dr. Ali Saeed Al Kaabi, Director of the UAE Floating Hospital, explained that patient care at the facility goes far beyond medical interventions.

He highlighted that patients also receive comprehensive psychological and social support, creating a therapeutic environment that addresses both physical and emotional well-being. This holistic approach is aimed at accelerating recovery, reducing suffering, and helping patients reintegrate into daily life with dignity.

The hospital’s multidisciplinary team closely monitors each patient’s progress, coordinating ongoing rehabilitation and specialized treatments tailored to individual needs. Physiotherapy, counseling, and social care are integrated into the care plan, ensuring that patients benefit from a fully supportive environment throughout their treatment journey.

Since its launch in February last year, the UAE Floating Hospital has served hundreds of Palestinians, handling a wide range of medical cases including complex surgeries, orthopedic treatments, rehabilitation, and physiotherapy, as well as psychological and social assistance.
