The UAE-Kuwait Economic Forum is set to begin next Monday as part of the “UAE and Kuwait: Brothers Forever” Week, which runs across the country until February 4. The event aims to reinforce economic, trade, and investment relations between the two Gulf nations while celebrating their longstanding fraternal ties.
The forum provides a platform for business leaders, policymakers, and investors from both countries to explore new investment opportunities, discuss developments in key economic sectors, and deepen bilateral trade and partnership initiatives, WAM reported.
Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of Foreign Trade, said the forum reflects the strong foundation of fraternal relations between the UAE and Kuwait, which support sustainable trade and investment cooperation. “It enables private sector partnerships, broadens opportunities for investors and entrepreneurs, and strengthens supply chain integration across sectors including trade, industry, the new economy, renewable energy, and logistics,” he added.
Dr. Al Zeyoudi described the forum as a pivotal milestone in enhancing strategic economic collaboration between the two countries. He emphasized its role in fostering joint growth, promoting economic diversification, and empowering private sector actors to seize new opportunities in line with global economic transformations.
The event will be inaugurated by Dr. Al Zeyoudi and Khalifa Abdullah Al-Ajeel, Kuwait’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, who will deliver keynote addresses on the evolution of UAE-Kuwait economic relations, ways to further develop bilateral trade, and mechanisms to strengthen sustainable cooperation between the two nations.
