A full tank of patrol in May will cost you between Dh9.69 and Dh14.06 more than last month.

In the UAE, fuel prices have steadily risen month-on-month. The Fuel Prices Monitoring Committee increased the prices for May by 19 fils per litre, compared to the prices of April 2024.

The prices hit a six-month high last month. Super 98 is now at Dh3.15 a liter, Special 95 at Dh3.03, and E-Plus 91 at Dh2.96. Diesel, however, dropped a bit to Dh3.09 from Dh3.16 in March. Back in October 2023, prices were lower, with Super 98 at Dh3.44, Special 95 at Dh3.33, and E-Plus 91 at Dh3.26.

To save on fuel, residents are finding ways like taking shorter routes and delaying plans.
