UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a phone call with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken to discuss key regional developments, including the escalating situations in Gaza and Lebanon.

The diplomats explored political and diplomatic efforts to secure a sustainable ceasefire, emphasizing the importance of achieving lasting stability and security in the region.

They also reviewed international initiatives to enhance humanitarian aid in Gaza and addressed the ongoing crisis in Sudan, focusing on its humanitarian implications.

Sheikh Abdullah also highlighted the UAE’s swift action in apprehending those responsible for the murder of Moldovan national Zvi Kogan.

He reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to safeguarding societal stability and fostering peaceful coexistence among its residents.
