The United Arab Emirates U20 national team continued their impressive form in the AFC U20 Asian Cup™ China 2025 Qualifiers, achieving a resounding 13-0 victory over the Northern Mariana Islands on Monday.
Building on their earlier 4-3 win against Lebanon, the UAE wasted no time asserting dominance. Yousif Ahmed opened the scoring goal in the 12th minute, quickly followed by Hazim Abbaas, who doubled the lead five minutes later. Saif Alkaabi extended the advantage to 3-0 at the half-hour mark, and Eid Mohamed Alhammadi added another in the 36th minute. Abbaas netted his second just two minutes later.
The relentless UAE attack showed no mercy as Eid Mohamed Alhammadi struck again in the 40th minute, with Ghaith Bader finding the back of the net just before halftime, bringing the score to 6-0.
The second half continued in the same vein, with goals from Obaid Salem in the 51st minute, Ahmed Alshammari in the 65th, and Saif Nasser in the 67th. Nasser added a second goal in the 90th minute, and Salem capped off an incredible performance with two additional goals in the 89th and 92nd minutes, completing the rout.
