Dubai's RTA has suspended public parking charges from May 25 to May 29, giving motorists up to six days of free parking over the Eid Al Adha break.

All public parking across Dubai will be free of charge from Monday, May 25, to Friday, May 29, 2026, in celebration of Eid Al Adha. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) made the announcement, covering all public parking zones during the holiday period.
Is parking free in Dubai for Eid Al Adha 2026?
Yes, Dubai's RTA has suspended public parking charges from May 25 to May 29, giving motorists up to six days of free parking over the Eid Al Adha break.
The exemption covers all public parking zones across the emirate. Multi-storey parking buildings are excluded and will continue to charge normal rates.
Which RTA service centres are open during Eid Al Adha?
All Customer Happiness Centres will be closed for the duration of the Eid Al Adha holiday. The Customer Happiness Centre in Umm Ramool, along with Smart Kiosks in Deira, Al Barsha, Al Tawar, Al Kifaf and RTA Headquarters, will remain open 24/7 throughout the break.
For vehicle testing, Service Provider Centres will begin their Eid holiday on Tuesday, May 26, and stay closed through Friday, May 29. Normal working hours resume on Saturday, May 30.
How long is the Eid Al Adha holiday for private sector workers?
Eid Al Adha falls on Wednesday, May 25. The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation announced that private sector employees will receive a four-day paid holiday from Tuesday, May 26, to Friday, May 29.
Workers whose regular weekend falls on Saturday and Sunday will effectively enjoy a six-day break.
What are Dubai Metro timings during Eid Al Adha 2026?
Dubai Metro's Red and Green Lines will run from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. on most days, with Sunday services starting at 8 a.m. Dubai Tram will operate from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. on most days, with a later 9 a.m. start on Sundays.
Bus timings will vary during the holiday, and customers are advised to check the S'hail app for updates. Bus Route E100 will not operate from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station between May 23 and May 31.
Travelers heading to Abu Dhabi during this period should use Bus Route E101 from Ibn Battuta Bus Station instead.
Marine transport schedules are available via a QR code provided by the RTA. Residents are encouraged to plan ahead and use public transport for Eid prayers and family travel.
