Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and his son, Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, shared heartfelt messages and videos on X to mark the UAE’s 53rd National Day, also known as Eid Al Etihad.
Their posts celebrated the nation’s leadership, congratulated its people, and reflected on the UAE’s remarkable journey while looking ahead to its ambitious future.
In his message, Sheikh Mohammed praised the UAE’s legacy, expressing gratitude for the nation’s blessings and honoring the founding leaders. “On this glorious Union Day... we praise Allah for the blessing of this cherished homeland. We remember the founders, celebrate the achievements of our journey, congratulate the people of the Union, renew our loyalty to the President of the Union, pledge to safeguard the Union's accomplishments, and inspire our children to give their all to protect the future of this Union,” he said.

He concluded with a heartfelt prayer for continued prosperity, security, and stability for the UAE, saying, “May Allah protect the United Arab Emirates.”
Sheikh Hamdan also shared an inspiring video on X, showcasing pride in the UAE’s history and the visionary leadership of its founders, including the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the founder of Dubai.
“On the 53rd anniversary of our beloved nation’s founding, we proudly remember the journey of Sheikh Zayed, Sheikh Rashid, and the founding fathers who established the Union and laid its solid foundations,” he said.
The Crown Prince extended congratulations to UAE’s President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his father, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, along with the rulers and citizens of the Emirates.

On December 2 of every year, the UAE celebrates the historic union of its seven emirates, a milestone achieved in 1971 under the visionary leadership of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
This day stands as a tribute to the unity, resilience, and progress that have defined the UAE’s journey, transforming it into a global hub of innovation, tolerance, and prosperity.
