Here are the influencers on the Ambani wedding guest list

But not everyone’s excited. One person declined to attend, calling the wedding a “circus”

Here are the influencers on the Ambani wedding guest list

L-R: Chris Appleton, Julia Chafe and Mario Dedivanovic

The who’s who will be in attendance at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding soiree, kicking off on July 12.

The wedding guest list includes politicians, industry leaders, A-listers from the Bollywood fraternity and international celebrities.

Prominent photographers and videographers will be flying in specifically from Los Angeles to document the nuptials.

But that’s not all. The Ambani family has extended invitations to some noteworthy influencers from all over the world. Kim Kardashian’s makeup artist and friend Mario Dedivanovic is rumored to have been roped in for the wedding. Also on the list is Hollywood hairstylist Chris Appleton.

Julia Chafe, a social media influencer and New York-based gem dealer, has also snagged an invite. Chafe is known for her quirky videos in which she decodes some of the most expensive bling worn by celebs and the Ambanis themselves to her over 340,000 Instagram followers.

A star-studded affair

After Justin Bieber performed at the Sangeet (Musical) over the weekend, sources have reported that Adele, Drake and Lana Del Rey will be performing at the upcoming functions. The Hindustan Times shared that local performers will include Sonu Nigam, Shankar Mahadevan, Hariharan, Shreya Ghoshal and Kaushiki Chakraborty.

Indian actors who will be strutting the wedding red carpet include the ‘Big 3’ i.e Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan, as well as Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Arjun Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, among others.

But not everyone is fawning for an invite

However, not everyone is as excited. Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap’s daughter, Aaliyah, allegedly called the wedding a PR strategy and “circus” on her broadcast channel on Instagram. A podcaster and influencer herself, Aaliyah shared that she was invited to some events but politely declined because she would like to believe she has more self respect than to sell herself out for someone’s wedding.

She went on to add that she just finds rich people’s lives so fascinating. “It’s like oh, we have this extra money. What should we do with it?”
