Hidden temple beneath Lahore Fort rediscovered

At the foothills of the historic Lahore Fort, also known as Shahi Qila, archaeologists uncovered a remarkable structure in recent years, the Loh Temple.

Linked in local tradition to Loh, the son of Rama, the temple connects to the centuries-old belief that the city of Lahore derives its name from him.
