Militants from proscribed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) continue to exploit Pakistan’s northwestern border belt, slipping through even after multiple operations.

This video shows how they enter via Bajaur and Khyber, move across Mohmand and Dir, and retreat to safe zones in Waziristan. Mountainous terrain, limited state control, and porous cross-border routes make tracking them extremely difficult.

Each district forms part of a wider militant network that re-emerges after every crackdown. Until the full belt is secured, the cycle of infiltration and attacks is likely to continue.
