Pakistani fast bowler Naseem Shah says he avoids rash driving and urged others to stay safe behind the wheel, speaking during an event in Karachi where inDrive launched its latest television commercial.
Talking to Nukta, Shah said, "I don’t drive rashly. Everyone should remember that reckless driving is dangerous. We should all drive carefully."
During the event, Nukta also engaged several prominent vloggers and content creators by asking what they would ask Shah if given the chance.
Content creator Junaid Akram said he would ask, "After losing to India, when do you feel comfortable enough to use social media again?" Vlogger Shaheer Khan said he would ask when all three Shah brothers — Naseem, Ubaid, and Hunain — might play together for Pakistan.
The event, held on Thursday at the Mövenpick Hotel, marked the launch of inDrive’s new TVC featuring Shah and his brothers, where the cricketer was announced as its brand ambassador.
Country head of inDrive, Awais Saeed, said the campaign, internally titled “Project Biryani” was designed to combine elements popular with Pakistanis — Cricket, Biryani, and ride-hailing services.
The company's partnership with Shah is part of its broader strategy to expand its footprint in Pakistan’s competitive ride-hailing market.
