The alleged incident took place on March 14 at approximately 5 p.m. in their residence in Ali Park, Garhi Mohalla, the FIR states.

Lal reported that upon returning home, Hussain began verbally abusing her before escalating to physical violence. He allegedly picked up a brick and struck her on the left side of her face and nose, causing serious injuries.

Lal further claimed that her husband has a history of quarrelsome behavior but said this incident was particularly severe.

“He often fights with me, but today, he went too far by physically assaulting me with a brick and hurling abuses. This is a grave act of violence, and I demand legal action against him,” she stated in her complaint.

Police officials confirmed that an investigation is underway. Meanwhile, Lal has sought medical treatment for her injuries, and authorities are expected to take further action based on the findings.
