In a joint humanitarian effort, the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Bahrain have sent an urgent 100-ton relief shipment to the Gaza Strip ahead of Ramadan, aiming to support families facing severe hardships, WAM reported.

The aid, coordinated through “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3” and the Emirates Red Crescent, was dispatched by the Royal Humanitarian Foundation of Bahrain (RHF) via Al-Arish Airport in Egypt, and is set to enter Gaza through the Rafah Border Crossing.

This initiative follows directives from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Honorary President of the RHF, and guidance from H.H. Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees.

The shipment contains essential supplies, including hygiene kits for children and women, staple food items, medicines, and critical medical equipment.

Eng. Ibrahim Dalhan Al Doseri, Acting Secretary-General of the RHF, highlighted that the operation reflects Bahrain’s ongoing commitment to humanitarian support for the Palestinian people, particularly during challenging times. He noted that delivering aid during Ramadan underscores the Kingdom’s dedication to solidarity, compassion, and alleviating the hardships faced by Gazans.

Al Doseri added that the Foundation continues to uphold Bahrain’s long-standing tradition of assisting Palestinians, reaffirming the Kingdom’s role in promoting humanitarian relief and support for just causes.
