UAE condemns terrorist attack in Turkey

Hours after a terrorist attack hit the Turkish capital, Ankara, on Wednesday evening, the UAE issued an official statement 'strongly condemning' the attack and expressing '"solidarity with all measures undertaken by the Turkish government to protect the country's sovereignty", WAM reported.
The statement issued by the UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) reaffirmed the Emirati "permanent rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism aimed at undermining security and stability in contravention of international law", according to Emirates News Agency.
Furthermore, the Ministry expressed the UAE's support for Turkey's endeavors in combatting terrorism.
The attack which was was carried out by two terrorists had targeted the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAS) headquarters, resulting in 5 deaths and 22 injuries, according to an announcement by the Turkish interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, which was cited in the state-run news agency Anadolu Agency.
