UAE Minister Khalifa Al Marar attended GCC–EU meetings in Kuwait to strengthen regional cooperation.

The UAE, represented by Minister of State Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, took part in the GCC–EU Joint Ministerial Meetings held in Kuwait on October 5-6, aimed at deepening regional and international collaboration, WAM reported.
During the meetings, Al Marar attended the Second High-Level Forum on Regional Security and Cooperation, where participants discussed regional stability and ways to enhance coordination.
He also joined a GCC-Benelux breakfast meeting and the 29th GCC-EU Joint Ministerial Meeting, both centered on advancing trade, investment, energy, and development partnerships.
The gatherings reaffirmed the two blocs shared commitment to expanding their strategic partnership, tackling climate change, and coordinating efforts in humanitarian aid, security, and sustainable development.
On the sidelines, Al Marar also held meetings with several EU delegation heads to explore further opportunities for bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors.
