The United Arab Emirates will host a wide range of international summits, exhibitions and sporting events in February, underscoring its growing role as a convening center for global dialogue, innovation and cross-border cooperation.

The month-long agenda spans governance, education, health, digital trade and sport, drawing world leaders, policymakers, industry experts and academics from across the globe. Officials say the program reflects the UAE’s strategic position linking markets in the East and West, supported by advanced infrastructure and a strong events ecosystem.

Dubai will host the World Governments Summit from February 3 to 5, its largest edition to date. More than 6,250 participants, including 35 heads of state, representatives from 150 governments and around 500 ministers, are expected to attend discussions on global challenges and the future of governance. The summit is set to receive coverage from more than 840 international media organizations.

Abu Dhabi will kick off the month with the Global Tolerance and Human Fraternity Conference on February 2. The event will bring together over 180 global thinkers, United Nations officials and academics to examine how emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, intersect with social cohesion and human values.

Education takes center stage later in the month with the Sharjah International Summit on Improvement in Education, scheduled for February 14 and 15. The program features training sessions, panel discussions and workshops focusing on AI in education, equity in learning, future skills and school development models.

The digital economy will be highlighted at Worldef Dubai 2026, running from February 12 to 14. Organizers expect around 10,000 visitors from 80 countries, with 200 speakers and 150 exhibitors exploring trends in global e-commerce, retail innovation and brand expansion.

Healthcare and medical innovation will be in focus at the World Health Expo (WHX Dubai 2026), to be held from February 9 to 12 at Expo City Dubai. The event will feature a specialized program led by Mass General Brigham, one of the world’s largest integrated academic healthcare systems.

The month will conclude with a major international sporting event, as Abu Dhabi hosts the Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026 from February 6 to 15. More than 25,000 athletes from over 100 nationalities are expected to compete across 37 sports.
