The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a 16-member squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Australia, scheduled to be played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.

The matches will take place on 29 and 31 January, and 1 February, with all games set to begin at 4:00pm PKT.

Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi return to the T20I setup after missing Pakistan’s three-match away series against Sri Lanka in January.

Shadab Khan will continue his comeback following his return in the previous T20I series, while Pakistan will field a strong spin attack featuring Abrar Ahmed, Mohammad Nawaz and Usman Tariq.

The Pakistan squad and player support personnel are expected to assemble in Lahore on Saturday, 24 January, with preparations for the series set to begin the following day.

Australia are due to arrive in Pakistan on Wednesday, 28 January, and the series will mark only their second T20I assignment on Pakistani soil, following a lone T20I played at Gaddafi Stadium in April 2022.
