This initiative aligns with the UAE National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031, aiming to develop a comprehensive system that leverages AI across key sectors.”

Al Shaibani further emphasized the policy's role as a significant milestone in achieving Dubai’s strategic goals.

“This policy accelerates the adoption of AI technologies,” he noted, “reflecting the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council.”

He added, “It supports Dubai’s ambition to enhance quality of life through AI integration, aligning with the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), which aims to double the economy and position Dubai among the top three global economic cities.”

The Dubai AI Security Policy is designed to strengthen trust in AI technologies, promote their development, and safeguard innovations from cyber threats. Additionally, it aims to foster collaboration between the public and private sectors and attract AI investments to Dubai.

The Dubai AI and Web3 Festival 2024 drew over 5,000 business leaders, 500 investors, and approximately 100 exhibitors. The event showcased the latest advancements in AI, Web3, and digital economies, reaffirming DESC’s commitment to enhancing Dubai’s status as a global innovation hub and contributing to its economic growth.
