Dubai's General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) said visitors can obtain a single-entry tourist visa within 48 working hours after submitting the required documents, as the emirate moves to simplify entry for international travelers.

Visas are available for either 30 or 60 days, the authority said, citing Gulf News.

How long does a Dubai single-entry tourist visa take?

A Dubai single-entry tourist visa is issued within 48 working hours once all required documents are submitted. Applications are processed through accredited tour offices using simplified, expedited procedures.

In many cases, representatives of those offices said approvals can come through in as little as two to three hours.

What documents are needed for a Dubai tourist visa?

Applicants must provide a personal photograph and a copy of a valid passport. For certain nationalities, a national identity card from their home country is also required.

The GDRFA said applications are processed promptly once all documents are in order.

Where can you apply for a Dubai single-entry visa?

Applications can be submitted through accredited tour offices in Dubai, which handle requests using streamlined digital procedures.

The GDRFA announced the details in a post on its official Instagram account. The authority said the process is designed to provide a seamless experience from application to arrival.

The initiative is part of Dubai's broader push to strengthen its standing as a global tourism destination by expanding digital services and reducing friction for visitors.

Both the 30-day and 60-day visa options can be extended, according to the GDRFA.
