Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed launched the Hatta Winter Initiative under the Dubai Destinations campaign.

Focuses on promoting Hatta as a top winter destination and sustainable tourism.

Features five festivals: Hatta Winter Festival, Cultural Nights, Honey Festival, Agricultural Festival, and Hatta x DSF.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has directed the launch of a new initiative called Hatta Winter Initiative, as part of the Dubai Destinations campaign, which aims to encourage tourists and residents to explore Dubai's unmissable spots, experiences, and activities.

The 40-day long initiative will be supervised by the Supreme Committee to Oversee the Development of Hatta and implemented by Brand Dubai and will start on 13 December, 2024 and conclude on 22 January, 2025.

Hatta Winter Initiative will inlude five festivals: Hatta Winter Festival, Hatta Cultural Nights, Hatta Honey Festival, Hatta Agricultural Festival, and Hatta x DSF.

Activities are set to include workshops, sports, cultural events, fireworks, and unique experiences like the Hatta Mountain Light Shows.

The initiaitive aims at highlighting Hatta as a leading winter destination, and promoting sustainable tourism and support local communities and small businesses.

Hatta Winter Initiative will be organized in collaboration with RTA, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Culture, Dubai Sports Council, and Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism.

It closely aligns with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan which focuses on upgrading Dubai’s urban areas, improving the efficiency of resource utilization, developing vibrant, healthy and inclusive communities and double green and leisure areas, providing a healthy environment to residents and visitors, as well as providing sustainable and flexible means of mobility.
