Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) has announced the second phase of its Logistics Park expansion, investing AED 90 million to add 360,000 square feet of state-of-the-art facilities aimed at meeting rising demand across the logistics and warehousing sector.

This latest expansion brings the total footprint of Jafza Logistics Park to over 922,000 square feet, reinforcing its position as a key logistics hub in the region. Abdulla Al Hashmi, Chief Operating Officer, Parks & Zones, DP World GCC, said: “Phase 1 was fully leased before completion—Phase 2 builds on that momentum, offering flexible, high-quality infrastructure to support multiple sectors.”

The expansion reflects our commitment to enabling businesses to scale globally while driving foreign investment into Dubai,

The new development includes modern offices, customisable units, temperature-controlled warehouses, and loading docks with enhanced power capacity—designed to accommodate the needs of industries such as technology, automotive, fashion, and food.

Jafza Logistics Park provides a full suite of services including contract logistics, freight forwarding, and inventory management. Its seamless connectivity to Jebel Ali Port offers significant logistical advantages, with value-added services like packaging, labelling, and quality control.

With the freight and logistics market in the Middle East and Africa projected to reach $235.8 billion by 2031, Jafza’s expansion directly addresses the sector’s evolving needs.

Sustainability is also at the core of the project, with precast concrete and off-site construction methods used to reduce environmental impact. The design incorporates skylights to enhance natural daylight and cut energy usage.

Phase 1 of the park, completed in November 2023, covered 562,507 square feet and was fully leased before its official launch—demonstrating strong market appetite for premium logistics infrastructure.

Today, Jafza is home to 10,890 companies from 150 countries, supporting over 160,000 jobs and generating AED 620 billion in annual trade.

This expansion aligns with the UAE’s strategic objective to grow its logistics sector to AED 200 billion annually within the next seven years.
