Bahria Town Karachi has organized a four-day celebration to mark the UAE’s 53rd National Day, highlighting the enduring ties between Pakistan and the UAE.
Consul Generals and dignitaries from the UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia attended the event. They praised Bahria Town Karachi’s commitment to world-class urban planning, its role in fostering cultural harmony, and its efforts in strengthening international relations between Pakistan and Gulf nations.
The festivities, spanning November 29 to December 3, include the hoisting of Pakistan and UAE flags, the playing of both national anthems, and a dancing fountain show synchronized with Emirati music.
Congratulatory messages to the UAE were displayed at the entrance gates and on the iconic Jinnah Avenue building.
The UAE National Day is celebrated annually on December 2, commemorating the unification of the Emirates in 1971. This year, the UAE government announced a new name for the occasion - Eid Al Etihad.
UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed marked the National Day with a heartfelt letter on X, thanking citizens and residents for their determination and contributions to the nation.
