The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s annual development budget for the fiscal year 2024-25 has lapsed after it failed to utilize the allocated funds.

According to official documents, the provincial government had earmarked PKR 416 billion for the Annual Development Program, which was later revised upwards to PKR 468 billion.

However, only PKR 275 billion were released, out of which PKR 230 billion were actually spent.
