The Love Guru trailer has landed—and it’s a total delight. Reuniting Humayun Saeed and Mahira Khan after a decade, the film already feels like a dream, and this trailer is just a tantalizing glimpse.
The trailer opens with the ever-charming Sohai Ali Abro, draped in florals and giant jhumkas, pure mischief in motion, ready to run away with a mystery man. But the twist? The getaway car is driven by none other than Humayun Saeed. That’s right — the king of romance is back.
Humayun makes his grand entrance with a painfully relatable zinger about his eternal singledom, followed by flashbacks of better times. It’s classic Humayun: effortlessly charismatic, hilariously self-deprecating.
Within moments, the trailer pivots, giving us major Ladies vs. Ricky Bahl energy. We see Humayun in different names, jobs, and disguises as he "saves" one girl after another—played by Momina Iqbal, Mira Sethi, and Ammara Malik. His mission? Help every girl in the world. Hence the nickname: the Love Guru.
He’s not working solo. His dream team—Marina Khan, Vardah Aziz, and Mohib Mirza—brings style and sass to the mission. But this time, the mission is personal.
Cue the spark. We’re hooked.

Mahira Khan enters as Sophiya Khan, an architect in London. Just a glimpse of Mahira, and jaws drop. She’s elegance, fire, softness — all at once. Her father, played by Jawed Sheikh, is desperate to stop her wedding (just 15 days away) and hires Humayun’s team. But Humayun has rules. He doesn’t break up relationships.
Her father fires back: “I thought you were a thug!” Game on.
As Humayun starts spending time with Sophiya, things begin to shift. Enter Ramsha Khan, teasing Sophiya about the spark. But Sophiya shrugs it off: “I’m getting married. In eight days.”
There’s a moment. He asks if it’s love or arranged. She says, “Arranged.” She’s designing a resort, but something more profound is unfolding. And just like that, he starts to fall.
Tension mounts. The fiancé’s arrival is near. Humayun questions his team — what progress have they made? Sophiya’s father is furious. Stakes skyrocket.

Then: the whirlwind. Candlelit dinners. Hot air balloons. Scenic countryside strolls. A lakeside boat ride straight out of The Notebook. Humayun is playing the violin in the background.
And in Mahira’s eyes? She’s falling, too. Of course, the dance scene! A romantic duet under the spotlights — they’re stunning. The moment? Iconic. It’s giving Bekaraan (from Superstar) energy and ends with Mahira running in a sari, looking back over her shoulder—pure magic.
Credit where it’s due: Vardah Aziz has nailed Mahira’s styling. She’s the reason everyone looks great — including Humayun Saeed, who’s officially a ‘hottie’. Every look is graceful, modern, and unmistakably Sophiya — elegant, effortless, unforgettable.
Because it’s a desi romance, we get a fight scene, too. Humayun throws punches, tries to impress. And when questioned about his motives, he says it plainly: No more pretending. He’s all in.
When you think the trailer’s wrung out every last emotion, it ends with a soul-stirring line from Munir Niazi: “Hamesha dair kar deta hoon main.” A poetic gut-punch that lingers long after the screen fades to black.
Visually, the Love Guru trailer is a cinematic dream. Every frame feels like it’s been pulled from a romance novel — soft lighting, lush colors, and sweeping countryside landscapes straight out of Bridgerton or a British period drama. From hot air balloons floating over golden fields to canoe rides on serene lakes, the visuals are not just pretty — they’re poetic. Thanks to director Nadeem Baig and cinematographer Suleman Razzaq, London never looked more magical.
