Pakistan captain Shaheen Shah Afridi led from the front with a four-wicket haul as England were bowled out for 241 in 46.4 overs in the fourth match of the ODI tri-series at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, on Sunday.

Despite a fighting century from Ben Duckett, England struggled to build momentum after a disastrous start, with Pakistan's fast bowlers making early inroads before wrapping up the innings with more than three overs to spare.

Pakistan, who won the toss and elected to field, now require 242 runs to secure victory.

Shaheen's four-wicket haul headlines Pakistan's bowling effort

Afridi set the tone with the new ball, removing opener Tom Banton for just four runs in the first over before dismissing experienced batter Joe Root for five.

England captain Harry Brook's stay was equally brief, as he was run out for one following a mix-up, leaving the visitors reeling at 19-3 inside five overs.

Haris Rauf then joined the party, dismissing wicketkeeper Jordan Cox for six, courtesy of a sharp catch by Babar Azam in the slips, as England slipped to 52-4 in the 10th over.

With England facing the prospect of a below-par total, Duckett and Sam Curran launched a recovery.

The pair added 91 runs for the fifth wicket, combining calculated aggression with sensible strike rotation to bring England back into the contest.

Curran contributed 42 before Afridi returned to break the partnership, handing Pakistan a crucial breakthrough.

Duckett, meanwhile, continued to hold the innings together, reaching a well-deserved century despite losing partners at regular intervals.

His innings of 105 was the backbone of England's total, but his dismissal with the score at 187-7 dealt another blow to the visitors' hopes of posting a challenging target.

Pakistan's bowlers maintained the pressure in the closing stages, preventing England from capitalizing on Duckett's efforts.

Debutant Razaullah impressed with two wickets, including the dismissals of Will Jacks and Liam Dawson, providing valuable support to the Pakistan captain.

Gus Atkinson offered some late resistance with an unbeaten 36, helping England push their total beyond 240 alongside Henry Crocombe.
