Pakistan receives 5.32 million income tax returns up to Nov 14
Out of 5.32 million income tax returns filed till November 14, 2.12 million returns filed nil-income
Pakistan's tax collection authority — the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) — has received 5.32 million income tax returns till November 14 for tax year 2024 against 6.71 million returns filed during the same period last year.
The FBR's loud and clear message against non-filers has forced the general public to voluntarily file returns to avoid harsh enforcement measures during current fiscal year.
