“The Love Emirates campaign is a way for visitors, residents, and locals to express their love for the UAE,” said Hind Marwan Al Mohammad, a communications and reputation officer at the GDRFA.
“The future of this campaign is to utilize the information gathered from the surveys and the voting system to analyze feedback, enhance our services, and identify areas of improvement, ensuring a stronger connection between the audience and us.”
Visitors at the booth's opening included GDRFA Director-General Lieutenant-General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri and Deputy Director General Major-General Obaid Muhair bin Suroor, among others.
Why we love the emirates
Aimed at promoting a positive image of the UAE, Al Mohammad said the initiative was launched in early December, being extended after an overwhelmingly encouraging public response.
The initial campaign asked the public to vote for one of five reasons to love the UAE, which were:
- Because it is the best country to settle in
- Because it is an exceptional global destination
- Because it has distinctive public services
- Because it offers good quality of life and community impact
- Because I feel respected and appreciated
“The ‘Love Emirates’ initiative is based on the sixth principle of the UAE 50-year charter on establishing the UAE’s global reputation which is a national mission for all institutions,” said a GDRFA spokesperson at the time.
