HBL PSL 10 Player Draft moved from Gwadar to Lahore, rescheduled for January 13
The draft event is set to be broadcast live at 12:30 PM PKT on Monday.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a change in the schedule for the HBL PSL Player Draft, which will now take place on January 13 at the historic Huzoori Bagh in Lahore Fort, Lahore.
Originally planned for Gwadar, the event was relocated due to unexpected logistical issues. However, Gwadar will still play a prominent role in March during the HBL PSL 2025 Trophy Tour as one of the key destinations.
The draft event is set to be broadcast live at 12:30 PM PKT on Monday, January 13. This year marks the highly anticipated 10th edition of the HBL PSL, scheduled to run from April 8 to May 19, 2025.
During the draft, the six franchises will assemble their squads at one of Lahore's most iconic cultural landmarks.
The platinum category draft pick order has already been finalized.
Lahore Qalandars, two-time champions, will have the first pick, followed by their rivals Karachi Kings.
Quetta Gladiators, the 2019 champions, will select third, while Peshawar Zalmi holds the fourth spot.
Last season's runners-up, Multan Sultans, will pick fifth, with defending champions Islamabad United concluding the round at sixth.
