PSX rebounds with 1.6% gain in range-bound market activity
Market activity remained range-bound amid mixed investor sentiment and cautious trading.
Despite some recovery in the Pakistan stock market in the outgoing week, investor caution prevailed as the index was unable to break through its key resistance level of 113,500.
The week ended with a gain of 1,762 points or 1.6% to close at 112,085.
The lower-than-expected half-year results of PSO stalled the recovery momentum, with second-quarter earnings reported at Rs15.35, falling short of market expectations.
